To our dear supporters, customers, friends, and suppliers:

There is no guidebook for how to navigate unprecedented times.

Like so many small businesses, we closed in March as the seriousness and gravity of the pandemic became evident around the world.  We watched, waited, and paid attention to each public health order and regulation.  Finally, when our team felt comfortable to do so, we opened our doors once again in a safe and calculated manner.

While we may have been the ones to reopen our doors in July to re-welcome guests, we found ourselves on the receiving end of an incredibly warm and welcoming return.  We have been overwhelmed with the support and kindness shown to us by our incredible community of supporters.  Thank you so very much.

However, in moving forward, we have made the difficult decision to close once again and Glenrosa’s last brunch service will be Sunday, September 13th.  While regular business operations as we currently know them will cease, we plan to take some time to figure out how Glenrosa may continue to play a role in being space for people to gather and build community.

Our sincerest gratitude goes out to our supporters and our staff.

Nothing would have been possible without our incredible staff who allowed us to realize our dream of opening Glenrosa to the public.  We must personally thank you; from the original crew who helped us officially open our doors in 2015, to those who joined along the way, and finally our current team who adeptly rose to the recent challenge of operating under strict public health regulations.  Each and every one of you helped us learn, grow, and evolve and we are so appreciative of your talents and efforts.  What an incredible journey it has all been.

To our customers, we’ve been privileged to be part of your lives.  We’ve hosted weddings, welcomed new babies, celebrated retirements, anniversaries, birthdays, and celebrations of life.  We’ve marked the holidays with you along with the growing seasons in our special part of the world.   We’ve shared our history and family with you and in turn, learned about your history and your families.  Thank you for entrusting us with the big moments and your everyday routines.

The original vision for Glenrosa was a place where friends, families, and the community could gather while enjoying locally-sourced fare that supported our surrounding farms and producers.  Because of all of you, we were able to achieve that vision and for that we are both proud and humbly grateful.

Please feel free to stay in touch with us at glenrosafarm@gmail.com, and we will keep you posted on any future developments and where our path may take us.

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for all the years of patience, kindness, laughter & joy.
