Hike Matheson Lake 

Matheson Lake is a tucked away gem in our Westshore parks system.  The park offers nature appreciation, hiking, swimming and fishing.  

From Glenrosa's parking lot, the lake trail is accessed by the Galloping Goose (Roche Cove to Rocky Point section).  A single track trail with some challenging steep sections, roots, and rocks goes around the lake or a modified loop is available that utilizes one side of the lake trail and the Galloping Goose.  Depending on the loop, the hike is approximately 5-6.5km and takes about 2-2.5 hours depending on pace and length of breaks.
